Selecting the right equipment for maintaining your arena is an important decision that has long term implications. Correct maintenance plays a major role in keeping your horses sound and performing at their maximum ability. Using the proper equipment will keep the integrity of the material and protect the significant investment made in your arena footing and your equine athletes.

The Kiser 2 Series Arena Drag is the most adaptable small tractor drag we have ever designed. The drag is 8’ wide and can be used as either a pull type drag or a 3 point drag simply by removing the tongue. This drag is an ideal solution for smaller tractors or tighter spaces where a 10’ wide drag cannot be used.
It features one set of hydraulic remotes for depth control when used as a pull type drag. When the drag is used as a 3 point drag, the depth can be set with an adjustable top link.
It has a set of rippers on the front of the drag, with replaceable ripper tips that can be adjusted for depth. Behind the rippers, there are two rows of replaceable grooming rods, which can also be adjusted for depth. At the rear of the frame, there are two options available. Either a profile blade or two additional rows of grooming rods, depending upon application. Finally, a finish rake gives the arena the final look and finish.
The drag is now also available with a leveling blade for the front of the drag to skim the arena and keep the footing level as you drag.
Designed for a standard or smaller tractor, The Kiser 8 Series Drag is unlike any other drag on the market.
Although this drag is 10‘ wide it only requires a 45HP tractor. It has two sets of hydraulic remotes – the first is a hydraulic leveling blade and the second set is to customize the drag depth.
On the front of the drag there is a stationary push blade that begins the footing re-leveling process. The blade runs about 1/2” to 1” in the ground and is the initial point of contact. Behind that, the second point of contact, there is a row of adjustable rippers that can be raised or lowered and pinned in place to loosen compacted footing at the desired depth. The third point of contact is a hydraulically controlled leveling blade/grooming blade. This blade can be used as a stationary leveling blade or it can be controlled to move arena footing and easily keep your arena footing at a constant depth.
Behind the leveling blade/grooming blade, the drag can be customized with either an adjustable profile blade or alternately, two rows of adjustable grooming rods. Finally, a finish rake gives the arena the final look and finish.
Most of our customers add the optional 225 gallon water system to The Kiser 8 Series Drag. The water system is designed to spray water in front of the drag instead of behind the drag. This allows the moisture to be worked into the footing versus having it sit on top of the footing. The water is distributed via a PTO driven pump that connects directly to the tractor.
Designed by Kiser Arenas, The Kiser 1010 Arena Drag is the ultimate equine footing preparation tool. The Kiser 1010 Arena Drag is a pull type drag with two sets of hydraulic remotes and a 500 gallon water tank that requires a tractor with at least 90HP.
The water system is designed to spray water in front of the drag instead of behind the drag. This allows moisture to be worked into the footing versus having it sit on top of the footing. The water is distributed via a PTO driven pump that connects directly to the tractor.
The 1010 has a hydraulic leveling blade on the front, two rows of replaceable grooming rods behind that and a hydraulic ripper bar in the center.
The Kiser 1010 Arena Drag can be customized with a profile blade on the back or alternately, two additional rows of grooming rods, depending upon the intended application. Finally, a finish rake gives the arena the final look and finish.
For the ultimate in precision arena grooming, an optional laser level system upgrade can be added
